Cosmetic Dentistry

Do you ever cover your mouth when you smile because you don’t like the appearance of your teeth? Cosmetic dentistry is not just for movie stars; it’s for anyone who would like to be happier with their smile. There are many services we can provide to improve the color, shape or alignment of one’s teeth or fill the gaps of missing teeth. Tell us your goal for your smile and let’s work together to achieve that goal. We can fix a single broken tooth or give you a total smile makeover. The choice is yours.

Here are a few of the services that are popular with our patients seeking improvements to their smiles.

Veneers

Veneers are tough, durable porcelain shells that are custom-made for each patient to fit neatly over the front of one or more teeth. When a tooth has suffered damage or serious discoloration or the shapes of one’s teeth are not pleasing, veneers can offer a fast solution. Even moderate misalignment can be corrected with veneers.

Veneers have taken the place of crowns for most cosmetic improvements. Veneers can be bonded to the front of a tooth with minimal change to the tooth itself, unlike crowns which require a tooth to be reshaped to fit under this cap. In just a couple of weeks, veneers enable you to see a dramatic and beautiful transformation of your smile.

Teeth Whitening

This is a fast way to reverse staining resulting from dark-colored foods like coffee, tea and wine, use of antibiotics or other causes. We offer in-office whitening which is the fastest way to see a noticeable change in the whiteness of your teeth, and an at-home program to bring about more gradual change. Whichever choice you make, you can see a dramatic difference in the whiteness of your teeth which can help boost self-confidence. And because aging is a cause of darkening teeth, some people say they look younger after teeth whitening.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a versatile method of repairing discoloration, chips, irregularly-shaped teeth and minor gaps between the teeth. After a tooth is prepared to bond to the durable, plastic-glass composite material, the bonding agent is applied directly to the teeth to reshape them or cover discoloration. The composite material is hardened with a special light and then finished with shaping and polishing. There are no waits for materials to be delivered from the lab—everything takes place in our office. You can go home with an improved smile in just one visit.
Call us for a consultation on the improvements you want to see in your smile. In addition to these favorites, there are many more ways we can replace missing teeth, correct alignment and otherwise give you the bright, beautiful smile you want.

You don’t have to suffer from a broken or discolored smile. You can replace it with the dazzling smile you’ve always wanted. Call us at 770-304-0034 and let’s go over your choices and get started.
