General Dentist in Newnan, GA

The groundwork laid in the first appointment is critical to the comprehensive treatment of your dental needs. Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes early to complete first time paperwork. You can save some time at your first visit by printing out and completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment.

Dr. Chubb does a thorough examination including an oral cancer screening, bite alignment check, gum disease detection and cavities detection. With that information, she prepares an explanation of any dental needs and treatment recommendations. If treatment is necessary, you and Dr. Chubb will decide the pace. The financial coordinator will discuss payment options and assist in scheduling your appointments for you. We will accommodate your busy schedule to the best of our ability.

Patients who qualify for a simple professional cleaning will receive it at the first appointment. If a more extensive professional cleaning ( deep cleaning ) is needed, there is a chance that we will have to schedule a second appointment in order to give you the proper time needed for your professional cleaning. All patients are encouraged to receive fluoride after their professional cleaning.
